Welding Robots

Weld Shop has spot welding, seam welding and MIG welding machines to weld various sheet metal parts to form the basic frame and other scooter panels.

Paint Shop Robots

Paint Shop has a conveyor system, which is unique amongst all Honda Factories in the world. The conveyor car carrying the parts is rotated and dipped so as to enable good paint adhesion, high gloss and superior paint finish. Robots are used in painting for improved paint finish.

Engine Assembly

Engine Assembly is done in an enclosed air pressurized area to protect the engine from dirt and dust. Each of the engines is then inspected for various parameters.

Honda Dio :-

Honda Dio was launched in September, 2002. Dio is India’s First Motoscooter. It has some unique features like a light weight fiber body, high ground clearance and a bigger luggage storage space. It has got the style, aggression and sleekness of a motorcycle & the comfort and convenience of a scooter. Being a new concept, the Honda Dio, besides doing immensely good in Indian Market is also being exported to South and Central America, Europe, African and Asian countries.

Honda Activa

The first scooter launched by HMSI has been synonymous with its name by revitalizing the Indian scooter market. This 102 cc, 4 stroke scooter was first of its kind to come out with unique features like CLIC(Convenient lift up independent cover) and tuff up tube. The Honda Activa excludes style and glamour, which blends with the latest in Honda technology. The Honda Activa has won numerous accolades. It was awarded the ‘Scooter of the Year’ in 2002 by Overdrive and ‘Reader’s Choice award” in 2001, for the best scooter by Auto India.
